We take our access to our screens and the internet so for granted that it's easy to forget that they are a privilege. Having all that entertainment and information at our fingertips is a once in human history occurrence, and we could do anything with it. So, naturally, we spend our time looking at memes.

Most of us don't think twice about this activity, but it can be a real event if we make it into one. Memes might be momentary, but having a good time is something that we have to prioritize. They know how to do that, so we shouldn't overlook the amount of access we get to them. They might not be top of our list when it comes to self care activities, but that doesn't mean that they can't be. Bubble baths are great and all, but easy access internet humor can be even more satisfying.
